Campus Benefits
As an essential part of the Entrada Manufacturing Support Platform, our manufacturing campuses are fully integrated environments that connect you with other Entrada clients to deliver significant economies of scale. This buying power enables you to develop operations at a level on par with even your largest competitor.
In Mexico, Entrada Group has two strategically placed locations where manufacturers can easily conduct their daily operations while drumming up new business with other locally based OEMs, Tier One and Tier Two companies.
Two Strategically Placed Campuses
Our first manufacturing campus is located in Zacatecas, Mexico. This campus is located just outside of Fresnillo, a city with a population of some 500,000. Enjoying close proximity to U.S. and Canadian markets, it’s within an eight-hour drive to Laredo, Texas, and the U.S./Mexico border. Zacatecas has a diverse industrial supplier base. It boasts a stable and reliable workforce, in stark contrast to the highly transient workforce of many near-border locations.
Our second manufacturing campus is located in Celaya, Mexico. Entrada’s 60-acre campus features 70,000 sq. ft. of advanced manufacturing space. Producers from industries spanning automotive, aerospace, medical device and consumer electronics are situated in and around Celaya, and these multinationals rely on tier-two and tier-three suppliers like you to support their growth.
“The campus is about taking that small 20-person operation and pairing it with 14 other companies, representing 6,000 total employees. It is the ultimate leveraging tool for a small or midsize manufacturer.”
Economies of Scale
Having multiple manufacturers centralize on Entrada’s two campuses delivers economies of scale unachievable as an individual operator. Transportation, technology infrastructure, benefits, food and labor costs are significantly lowered because contracts are negotiated on behalf of the entire manufacturing campus.
Cutting Through Red Tape
Entrada clients don’t have to negotiate individually with Mexico’s local, state and federal governments. Instead, the campus speaks as one, leveraging Entrada’s experience and well-established relationships. We’ve also developed close partnerships with local technical and professional schools, thanks to our size and significance as an employer. As a result, our clients are able to attract and retain the most highly skilled and sought-after workers.
