April 30, 2012 (Austin, TX) —  Manufacturing shelter operator Entrada Group has announced that it and Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems (MABS) have agreed to a five-year extension of their strategic relationship in Mexico. The agreement includes the contracting of a state-of-the art, 35,000sq ft manufacturing facility located in Zacatecas within Entrada’s industrial park, in addition to the full support of Entrada’s shared services center, which handles HR and recruitment, payroll, finance, transport and logistics, IT and more.

Meggitt Senior Vice President of Operations, Tank Williams, says of the announcement: “Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems is pleased to announce our continued strategic business relationship with Entrada Group in Fresnillo. Since the inception, Meggitt has realized outstanding results with the support of the employees and Entrada Group; together playing an integral role in achieving and maintaining the highest quality output, ISO 9000 certification, and meeting our business objectives.”

Meggitt Aircraft Braking Systems produces and supplies aircraft braking systems to a diverse range of customers, to include airline operators, aircraft constructors, private aircraft owners and charter operators, governments and military operations, distributors and repair stations. Due to the high quality of the braking systems currently being machined at the Zacatecas location, Meggitt has made the strategic decision to maintain this facility in addition to their Querétaro manufacturing location.
