Principal, President
Before founding the Entrada Group, Paul was CEO and shareholder of The
Offshore Group. While CEO, Offshore became the industry leader in Mexico,
providing a comprehensive shelter program to over thirty-five U.S. manufacturers.
At the time of his departure, the firm employed a workforce of over 10,000
people and had developed 2.5 million square feet of manufacturing space
in three company-owned, master-planned manufacturing parks. The company
received Exporter of the Year Award for the Maquiladora Industry in 2001.
The value of their client exports that year surpassed $200 million (U.S.)
Paul is bilingual and bicultural, a member of the Arizona Bar Association
and a founding board member of the National Law Center for Inter-American
Trade. His corporate relationships have included Kimberly Clark, ITT Industries,
Senior Flexonics, Chahta Enterprise, and Alfa Laval.
Paul and his wife, Patsy, live with their son, Ben, in San Antonio, Texas.
Douglas F. Wilson
Principal, Vice President of Operations
Prior to joining Entrada Group, Doug worked with Mr. Karon as a senior
executive at Offshore Group.
Doug has worked his way up the ranks of international manufacturing. From
purchasing to quality control, from traffic, customs and logistics, to
director of operations, Doug has twenty-seven years of top executive and
operational management experience in Mexico.
Well grounded in plant start-ups and daily operations, Doug has lived
in some of Mexico's top manufacturing cities where he has established
and managed U.S., Mexican, and multi-national manufacturing operations.
His list of companies include Motorola, TRW, Whirlpool, Oster/Sunbeam,
General Electric, and Vitro and Cydsa (multi-national Mexican firms).
Selected assignments have included:
- Director of Operations for Motorola's Integrated Circuits Plant in
Guadalajara, Mexico
- Plant Manager of TRW's Seat Belt Facility in Reynosa, Mexico
- General Manager of General Electric's Lighting & Wiring Devices
Operations in Ciudad Acuna, Mexico
- Doug was responsible for "greenfielding" TRW's first Automotive
Air Bag Facility in Chihuaha, Mexico.
- Director of Operations for a joint venture between Whirlpool and Vitro,
one of Mexico's largest multinational manufacturing conglomerates.Recruited
by Vitro, Doug managed Kitchen Appliance Plant, which was exporting
products to both Central America and the United States. Doug also represented
Vitro's joint manufacturing interests in Brazil for the South American
market.
Doug and his wife, Carol, have seven children and nine grandchildren.
As a youth, Doug received the prestigious Eagle Scout Award.
Douglas L. Donahue
Principal, Vice President of Business Development
Prior to joining The ENTRADA Group, Doug lived and worked in Mexico City
for eleven years, most recently as Director of The State of Ohio's Mexico
Trade Office. During his four-year tenure, Doug assisted over 250 Ohio
manufacturers with their entrance into the Mexican market, as well as
with their development of a Mexican supplier base.
Before joining the State of Ohio, Doug was responsible for start-up and
management of the Mexican subsidiary of Test-Rite International, a publicly
listed Taiwanese trading company. His work included development of supply
sources and negotiation of supply contracts with manufacturers throughout
Asia, including China and India.
Doug has a Master's degree in International Development from The American
University in Washington, D.C. He has served on the Board of Directors
of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico and was an active participant
on their NAFTA Implementation Committee. Doug served as President of the
Association of American States in Mexico.
Doug and his wife, Graciela, live in San Antonio, Texas.
